For luxury brands shipping high-value goods around the world, visibility and security are non-negotiable. Before implementing Tive, Moët Hennessy relied primarily on milestone-based tracking that lacked real-time precision. Facing increasing cargo theft risks coupled with limited shipment insight, the company turned to Tive: to strengthen shipment monitoring, improve collaboration, and gain greater peace of mind across its entire supply chain.

“Tive makes things so much clearer. It’s like you’re in the container with your products, and can see everything that is happening.”

Addressing Cargo Theft One Shipment at a Time

Before Tive, Moët Hennessy could only track shipments through updates provided by shipping carriers. The company lacked precise visibility into exactly where delays, issues, and theft incidents were occurring. “Our shipments face many threats due to the high value of the products,” said Marjorie Lesueur, Logistics Analyst at Moët Hennessy. “But we didn’t know when and where a theft was happening in real time.” Armed with Tive, the team at Moët Hennessy now has access to live shipment visibility and real-time alerts that provide significantly more detail than traditional tracking platforms. “Tive makes things so much clearer,” Lesueur explained. “It’s almost like you’re packed into the container with your products, and can see everything that is happening.”

Door Opening Alerts = Actionable Intelligence

One day, Marjorie received a Tive light alert—indicating that the container doors had been opened. The alert lasted only a few seconds, but the Tive team quickly helped investigate the event. “I received an alert for a door opening,” said Lesueur. “The Tive team gave me more information, including exactly when the doors had been opened, and that the temperature and humidity had increased.” Using Tive’s reports and timestamps, Moët Hennessy was able to identify precisely where the incident occurred, and they believe that the tracker itself likely deterred the attempted theft after it was spotted when the container was briefly opened. “I think the tracker is a big discouragement,” Marjorie said. “Thieves don’t know what it is, and they don’t trust it.”

“The Tive platform is really user friendly, and the alerts for geolocation, temperature, humidity, etc. are extremely useful.”

User-Friendly Technology Simplified Shipment Monitoring

And it isn’t just the trackers. The team at Moët Hennessy was able to quickly adopt the Tive platform thanks to its ease of use and intuitive design. Marjorie, who manages shipment setup herself, said the platform made monitoring significantly easier than previous tools she had used. According to Marjorie, “The Tive platform is really user friendly, and the alerts for geolocation, temperature, humidity, etc. are extremely useful.” The company currently uses Tive on a chunk of its maritime shipments, and is already discussing expansion into road transportation—where theft risks are even greater.

Responsive Customer Support Exceeded Expectations

While the Tive technology itself delivered valuable visibility for Moët Hennessy, Marjorie said one of the most welcome surprises has been the responsiveness and support provided by the Tive team. “What continues to exceed my expectations is the support I’m getting,” she said. Whether investigating alerts or answering operational questions, the Tive team can be counted on to provide quick responses and hands-on assistance. Marjorie went on to explain, “I simply send an email to the team, and I get an answer really quickly. I appreciate it very much.”

After only a few months using the Tive solution, Marjorie says the idea of losing Tive would feel like losing a critical operational advantage. “I think Tive is a real value add for our group. If we had to go back to life before Tive, I would be very upset.”
