Step 1: Identify the Various Ways to Gain Visibility into a Shipment’s Location & Condition

  • Phone calls
  • Asset tracking (truck, plane, train, trailer, or ship)
  • Tracking via algorithms and ELD
  • Real-time trackers

Step 2: Categorize Your Freight by Risk & Value

While basic asset tracking is suitable for low- and mid-value freight, specific types of high-end cargo need a more robust solution.

Low Value / High Risk (potentially critical)
Ex: Fresh produce, clothes, shoes
High Value / High Risk (critical)
Ex: Pharmaceuticals, meat, consumer electronics, computer servers
Low Value / Low Risk (non-critical)
Ex: Toys, consumer household goods
High Value / Low Risk (potentially critical)
Ex: Heavy duty road equipment, mobile homes

Some companies may need to expand these categories to include one or more medium-value/medium-risk shipping scenarios.

Step 3: Layer Real-Time Trackers to Each Category of Freight

Real-time, multi-sensor trackers—attached at the shipment, pallet, or container level—provide end-to-end shipment visibility into:

  • Location
  • Temperature
  • Humidity
  • Light exposure
  • Shock/vibration events

Benefits of 100% Real-Time Visibility

  • Decreases Spoilage
  • Cuts Loss
  • Reduces Theft
  • Diminishes Claims
  • Supports Your Compliance Needs

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
