One of the most-used features of the Tive shipment tracking solution is the ability to set configurable alerts.   In this post we’ll talk about setting temperature alerts, which are especially important for our cold chain customers. Many products like drugs and food must stay within a strict temperature band. Tive allows users to set upper and lower thresholds for temperature as well as other climate metrics. If the tracker senses a temperature outside of the defined range, an alert notification is triggered. Based on notification preferences, Tive makes sure that the right people are notified with an in-app notification, text message, and/or email.

Taking advantage of the Tive alert functionality is quite easy:

  1. Select the device you want an alert from.
  2. Click on  “Alert” from the tracker menu
  3. Click on “Configure” from the Alerts menu
  4. Click on Max or Min temperature
  5. Enter the desired temperature limits
  6. Enter the email or phone number you want to be alerted at
  7. Click “Create”

In upcoming blog posts we will talk about new alerts we will be rolling out.  Stay tuned!

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
