How We Ship Matters

Tive Cryogenic and Dry Ice probes extend validated, real-time temperature monitoring from origin to delivery. The Cryogenic probe reads to -200°C and the Dry Ice probe to -100°C, and both ship with a certificate of calibration from an ISO 17025 accredited lab.

The Cryogenic probe is suited for very low temperatures down to -200°C to monitor product stability inside cryogenic shippers.
‍
The Dry Ice probe is suited for very low temperatures down to -100°C to monitor product stability inside dry ice shippers.

How We Ship Matters

Committed to Sustainability
‍In cases where tracker return is possible, Tive’s Green Program encourages and rewards the return of single-use trackers to Tive for refurbishment and repurposing.

No Return Logistics to Manage
The Solo Pro can be used as a single-use tracker, so teams skip the collection and return step entirely. It is also rechargeable and reusable, which suits closed-loop lanes where the same tracker runs repeatedly.

Questions

Learn More About Tive Solo Pro

What is a real-time visibility solution for pharmaceutical shipments?

A real-time visibility solution for pharmaceutical shipments combines a tracker that travels inside the shipment with a cloud platform that reports its location and condition while it is still moving, rather than producing a report after delivery. The difference between real-time trackers and passive loggers is timing: with the Tive tracking solution, an excursion arrives as an alert in time to act on it. The Solo Pro is a validated, GxP compliant tracker that reports location, temperature, humidity, shock, and tilt in transit.

Is the Tive Solo Pro a medical device?

No. The Solo Pro is a real-time shipment tracker. It monitors the conditions a shipment experiences in transit, is not a diagnostic or therapeutic device, and is not regulated as one. It is fully validated and GxP compliant, and its certifications include FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11. Confirm how those apply to your specific validation program with Tive directly.

What compliance certifications does the Tive Solo Pro carry?

The Solo Pro is fully validated and GxP compliant. Those include FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 for electronic records, SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO/IEC 27001 for data security, and flight approvals from IATA, FAA, and EASA. Every tracker ships with a 3-point certificate of calibration from an ISO 17025 accredited lab. Confirm how these apply to your specific validation program with Tive directly.

What temperature ranges does the Tive Solo Pro support?

The tracker itself operates from -30°C to 60°C, with the display readable between -20°C and 60°C. External probes extend that for ultra-low temperature loads: the Dry Ice probe reads to -100°C and the Cryogenic probe to -200°C, and both carry an ISO 17025 calibration certificate. That covers cool, refrigerated, frozen, dry ice, and cryogenic shipments on one device.

How accurate is the Tive Solo Pro temperature reading?

Temperature accuracy is plus or minus 0.5°C, with drift of less than 0.01°C per year, and every tracker ships with a 3-point certificate of calibration from an ISO 17025 accredited lab. Drift matters on a reusable tracker, because it determines how long the device stays inside tolerance across repeated trips.

Is the Tive Solo Pro rechargeable and reusable?

Yes. The Solo Pro uses a rechargeable NiMH non-lithium battery, so it can be used once on a one-way lane or recharged and reused across a closed loop. Battery life runs 30+ days at a 60 minute transmission interval, and 110+ days at 12 hours, with a shelf life of one year. The non-lithium battery also removes a dangerous goods paperwork step on air freight.

What is the display on the Tive Solo Pro for?

The 2.66 inch high-contrast ePaper display shows alarm state, start and stop status, and data upload status on the outside of the shipment. It lets a handler, an inspector, or a customs officer read shipment status without opening the packaging, which is the point: on many pharmaceutical lanes, opening the packaging to check a device is not an option.

What is the difference between the Tive Solo Pro and the Tive Solo 5G?

Both are real-time trackers that report location and condition to the Tive cloud platform. The Solo Pro adds tilt sensing, an always-on display, a rechargeable non-lithium battery for reuse, and validated GxP compliant credentials. Both trackers support cryogenic and dry ice probes for ultra-low temperature loads. Choose the Solo Pro for validated pharmaceutical and life sciences lanes. Choose the Solo 5G for high-value goods.

What model number is the Tive Solo Pro?

The Tive Solo Pro ships as model TT-9100 and TT-9110.
